Creating my storyboard and capstone video is an exciting project, but also a very overwhelming project. This is where my lack of experience shows! I watched the iMovie tutorial and it seems pretty user friendly and straightforward, but the WeVideo tutorial seemed a little more involved. I'd like to spend the time to play with and become more familiar with WeVideo, but I don't feel like I have that time.
In looking through the other capstone videos, I think I've learned that I want mine to be a little simpler. The loud background music was distracting, and I wasn't a fan of the flashy graphics/special effects. For me, the messaged was lost in the special effects.

Google Add- ons
I created a Google Form and emailed it to myself so that I could test out some Add-ons. I tried out 3 different add-ons. DocAppender I could not get to work. I'm sure it work out differently if I opened it prior to creating a Google Form. Row Call was interesting. It separated everything into different pages. Flubaroo was the third one. I had recently seen this add-on demonstrated at a conference I attended. It didn't work for the Google Form/survey I created, but I can see it's use if using for a test or quiz.

Google Forms
I just recently went the CTA:Good Teaching Conference. My favorite session was on formative assessment using google forms!! We were shown how to use google forms with the flubaroo add on that would grade tests or quizzes, and create a spread sheet with results. Building the forms was pretty straight forward. I can't wait to start using it! I do think it would be easier if we had 1:1 devices, but I'll have to make do with what I've got for now. Anything that can make our jobs easier, right!!
